Nichts is a photo series about decay, loneliness, identity, alienation and despair. Nichts follows two characters. Throughout the series, both characters are experiencing some type of decay and alienation. Nichts should be uncomfortable. It is a cry for help.

»Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.«
William Shakespeare, Macbeth
